Healthcare Insecurity/Federal Medicaid Info

Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that provides free or low-cost health coverage to millions of Americans, including some low-income people, families and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. The federal government provides a portion of the funding for Medicaid and sets guidelines for the program. Medicaid programs vary from state to state.

Healthy Families America Strategy

Healthy Families America (HFA) is the signature program of Prevent Child Abuse America. Our National Office, located in Chicago, Illinois, provides support, technical assistance, training, affiliation and accreditation to our international network of affiliated sites.

Centering Healthcare Institute

Centering group prenatal care follows the recommended schedule of 10 prenatal visits, but each visit is 90 minutes to two hours long - giving women 10x more time with their provider. Moms engage in their care by taking their own weight and blood pressure and recording their own health data with private time with their provider for belly check.

The North American Antiepileptic Drug Pregnancy Registry

The North American AED Pregnancy Registry is dedicated to answering this question. Anticonvulsants treat disorders like epilepsy, mood disorder, and chronic pain, but more information is needed about them to answer the question confidently. If you’re already taking anticonvulsants and are pregnant, please consider sharing your experience with us to help other women like yourself. Your identity will remain confidential.
